Dominic P. Tremblay, the Curriculum Consultant
Dominic P. Tremblay has been working as a part-time curriculum consultant since 1997. In 2010, he began consulting full time, and is now offering his services to school boards, schools, organizations, associations and government organizations in Canada, the US and abroad. He has worked on developing curriculum material and training teachers at all levels, from grade 1 to 12. Prior to becoming a consultant, he gained valuable in-class experience teaching Mathematics, Science, Technology, Computer Science, French, Geography, History, Social Studies, Spanish, Communication Technology and many other disciplines.
Dominic has worked for different clients over the year, producing high-quality curriculum material. His clients include the Ministry of Education of Ontario (MEO), Eastern Ontario French Public School Board (CEPEO), Central Eastern Ontario Catholic School Board (CECLFCE), the “Centre canadien de leadership en éducation” (CLE), the “Éditions du renouveau pédaogique inc.” (ERPI – French Canadian textbook publisher), the Franco-ontarian Association of Teachers (AEFO), the “Centre franco-ontarien de ressources pédagogiques” (CFORP) and many more.
He has also produced multimedia resources for teachers, which he offers for free on his various websites. Some of the resources currently available include: Science Flash animation segments, 3D historical timelines, a free WordPress Widget teachers can use to display homework on their websites, and French-language tutorials on how to use the Geometer Sketchpad.
